Senior-Level Interior Designer

We’re seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our team and to shepherd high-end residential and hospitality projects from concept through execution. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful, experienced, driven designer who takes pride in their work and isn’t afraid of spitballing ideas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptual Design: Work collaboratively to develop a cohesive and considered concept for each project.

  • Drafting & Modeling: Produce sketches, plans, elevations, detail drawings, 3D models, renderings, and clear interior design documentation for each project.

  • Sourcing & Specification: Source materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and hardware for each project. Guide selections through specification to purchasing and successful installation.

  • Client Presentation & Coordination: Create client-facing presentations and maintain clear communication as a day-to-day point of contact for the client.

  • Project Execution: Coordinate with vendors and contractors and perform regular site visits to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Proactive, high-vibe, can-do attitude

  • Undergraduate / graduate degree in interior design or architecture

  • 5+ years of experience working as an interior designer

  • High level of proficiency using AutoCAD / Revit, SketchUp, Enscape

  • Proficiency in creating client-facing presentations

  • Clear understanding of typical building and fabrication methods, codes, standards

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, contractors, and tradespeople

  • Extremely detail-oriented

  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage 2-3 projects simultaneously

  • Austin-based
