NORDIC TEXAN 

The view is what captured our attention here: uninterrupted Hill Country skyline rushes in through floor to ceiling windows.  

This little slice of Texas heaven is one of the best spots we know of to watch the sun go down, and our goal was to create a fresh interior to complement the airy vibe. The combination of Scandinavian, vintage, and clean-lined custom furnishings creates an airy feel, while punchy color punctuates the living spaces in the casita found on the back side of the property.

We commissioned Tom Jean Webb to create art for the home, including a mural of his signature ranch markings in the main powder room.

Because there wasn’t enough room for bedside tables in the primary bedroom, we came up with custom “saddlebag” pockets for each side of the bed to store phones, books, and reading glasses at night.

The casita bedroom doubles as a workspace with added privacy, which came in handy for the homeowners during the pandemic lockdowns.
